Twisted Frequency Festival 2024-2025
Feraliza is greatly honored and excited to share her new River Time project in the community and the place that inspired it, the Cobb Valley in Mohua - Golden Bay. Get your tickets on the Twisted Frequency Website before they run out!
Feraliza's set will end with an open jam, the time for YOU to get up and share your own talents and interact musically with some other random festival goers. This has happened for the last two years and it's always a magical surprise to see what happens! Pictures in Her Head
Feraliza will be joining a whole lineup of talented local women in a singer-songwriter showcase here in Waihopai, Invercargill, on Saturday the 6th may. Tickets are available Here And here is the facebook page to invite all your friends! Feraliza returned to Waihopai in February from her summer journey to Golden Bay, where she performed at Twisted Frequency Festival 2022-23, through an amazing sound system, run by the highly skilled sound engineer, Clayton, from Sacral Sound, who she also enjoyed helping with stage management during the festival. It was a sweet as, laid back crowd in the Chillery and after that there was even time to hold a jam space. The variety of instruments and inspired jammers in just an hour was impressive! The rest of the summer in the bay was spent camping by the river, jamming with friends both new and old everywhere she went.
In February Feraliza returned to Murihiku, Southland, and played at Burning Horse Festival, which was a spectacular end to a gorgeous summer. Feraliza was impressed with lots of little special things about this festival, including the keep cup system, which kept things beautifully tidy! She also loves to see geodesic domes at a festival and of course, you have to mention the giant trojan horse, which was actually unable to be burned because of fire restrictions, but they still made a pretty special fire ceremony around it, with projections to make it appear like it was burning! The site has a lovely river flowing right through it and people were chilling in the water all day and sweating in the sauna at night! Now she's back at SIT getting stuck into the second year of her double degree in music and audio production. Feraliza has been put in a rocking new band and is loving the challenge of learning all these new songs. She also appeared at the NZ Dairy Industry Awards to present the award for #1 Climate Polluter to dairy giant, Fonterra. All up, it has been an inspiring time, and there is plenty of new material to be processed into new tracks now she is back in the studio! On 12 November 2022 Feraliza performed along with a lineup of amazing musicians from her audio production class at SIT, Invercargill. The show was a massive success and great to see all the ones who are usually behind the scenes get up on the stage and show everyone what they can do with their instruments!
Feraliza had a spectacular time at Circulation festival, which ran from the 13th till the 17th of October. She launched a flight of the Jam Space Craft and was honored to host this epic collaborative improv session all Saturday night and to serenade this magical gathering of circus folk while we all shared a hangi on Sunday. Thanks to Martyn for this image!
Feraliza appeared at the Get FOLKed night at The Southland Musicians Club on Friday 9th September to launch her new track Cosmic Train featuring five piece band The Cosmos.

Fortnightly concerts at SIT's Centre Stage theatre keep her continually rehearsing and performing new songs that challenge her in different ways and Feraliza is absolutely loving breaking out of her comfort zones and trying out lots of different styles!
